Swell On The Way For Women And Masters SurfTag
Queenscliff Boardriders Club go into this weekend’s Women's and Master's SurfTag sitting on top of the 2024 Surftag series ranking with North Narrabeen and North Steyne Boardriders close behind after the first three events.
A large south swell has been forecast for Saturday’s Women Surftag that was won last year by Long Reef Boardriders. The Women Surftag being held at Queenscliff Beach will be contested by Ulladulla, Scarborough, Elouera, Queenscliff, Long Reef, North Narrabeen, Bungan & North Shelly Boardriders.

Sunday’s Masters Surftag (Over 40’s) will be hotly contested with the fifth and final event deciding the 2024 Surftag series champions. Elouera Boardriders upset North Narrabeen at last year’s Masters Surftag with Long Reef finish third and MacMasters Own Boardriders fourth.
“It’s going to be a great weekend of club surfing and waves are on the way”, said Steve Harrison, Surftag series Contest Director. “Queenscliff are on top of the Rankings but North Narrabeen aren’t far behind so it will be good to see how the women’s event pans out on Saturday and then we’ll know what the scenario is going into Sunday. The Masters Surftag is always good to watch with all the older former Pro Surfers putting on the rashie for their Club.”
Competition begins on Saturday at 8.00am with the Final scheduled for 1.00pm
On Sunday competition will begin at 10.00am with the Final at 3.00pm
