Wrong Labeled Surf Cam
Hi Thermalben.
When possible , could you organise to have the name of a Surf Cam changed to its correct one. In Victoria, RAFFS is incorrect it should be R.A.A.F.S. . It has a historical context as to why it has that name. Planes use to practice beach landings on that south end of Ocean Grove. AW
Maybe Bukkys?
Thanks for the background Alfred.
Lots of full stops in the name will potentially create technical issues, so we'll have to leave them out.
Happy to switch out the 'f' for a 'a', but for what it's worth, SLSA calls it Raffs too: https://beachsafe.org.au/beach/vic/greater-geelong/barwon-heads/raffs

Hi and thanks Ben. I know it appears pedantic, simply the SLSC has also incorrectly labelled it RAFFS. I’m gobsmacked by how many have said to me that the name RAFFS is incorrect. Remove those fullstops and plonk in an A you’ll make all or most of the hardened locals happy. AW
On Coffs Coast Cams for a while now South Park Beach Cam has been listed as offline but today it’s back online but listed under the Macauleys Cam and there is no Macauleys Cam.
