Cleaning surfboards… in indo
Arak
How’d the ears go?
haha udo, that will clean most things including my bowels
Sun scraper and beach sand works
Metho or Vinegar or Nail polish remover which is basically Acetone ?
tea tree oil? works a treat for wax....
Fresh water spray, scrape and cloth wipe - repeat if required.
... In direct sun
I doubt Fresh water spray scrape and a cloth wipe is going to remove Surf Mud stain from a sanded surface
Try a paste made from Bi Carb and water rub in and wash off .
Most citrus based cleaners will do it, orange power for example

Yeah sorry didn't read the OP close enough and didn't see the Surf Mud reference. Don't use it and keep my boards pretty tidy so non chemical clean works fine.
Borrowing a cycling experience I'd be hesitant to use any Petro chemicals on ones board, ended up with a stained drive train doing this years ago. As others/you have posted citrus based degreasers or tea tree oil (great for removing the old parks pass) would be the go if the board is that bad.
Boiling water..
No...dont !!
NOOOOO
Oh no. What does boiling water do :/?
Delam.
Hasn’t yet. Done it a few times.. perfect solution for indo.
Bigredcouch is after a cleaning solution for Surf Mud zinc residue and general Grime..
Hey crew,
I’ve got Surf Mud (zinc) and a bit of general grime all over my boards. Normally in Aus I’d clean my boards with Wax and Grease remover and rinse with fresh water.
But I’m in Indo… How should I go about cleaning up the sticks? I’ve seen the indos do it with petrol, but that seems a bit excessive. What’s the indo alternative for wax and grease remover? Cheers
