Blackers that article is just another way by which The Elite cast doubt on The Truth.
Don't be deterred brother, although at the moment we are persecuted like Jews in the lead up to the war, we will prevail and we will be on the right side of history - our names shall be written in a blaze of glory and we shall be victorious.

Persecuted like Jews... ?? FFS that's the most ignorant comment I have seen on this website.

Wow Udo. I knew you were special, but not this special.
Burls, we all look forward to your in-depth, point by point rebuttal of those myths listed above.

Haha, yep deserved that. :)
Stay strong Brother, we will prevail!
You are a funny man Andy.
We don’t know a lot about covid, or even if covid itself is the actual myth… yet ;)
Myths are tied to belief and fantasy - and usually created as a false representation or counter measure, often to hype something up or bring it down…
Either way, they add intrigue and drama.
Myths have a place in our imagination and sometimes help mould enduring memories and play on fears or hopes…
Myths are an essential part of confusing and conflating truths. They go both ways tho ;) Consider myths around masks, myths around covid potency, myths about vaccine efficacy, myths about transmission… and probly the biggest myth within the myth - the myth of asymptomatic transmission! ;);)
There has been data myths, scientific transparency myths, predicted death rate myths and government and big pharma collusion myths. But who is fuelling these myths? Are they even real or are they there because without a myth making machine the wonderful show runs out of steam ? ;);)
When ppl sprout throwaway remarks such as ‘when the next pandemic comes along’ etc, it shows that it is easy to have accepted the pandemic at face value. It also shows how we create myths for a purpose and for our own understanding because we want to believe something if what we are enduring or what has been experienced seems unbelievable ;);)
That is why the myth that this pandemic just ‘came along’ has already been sold and packaged and bought. Yet the ‘myth’ of this pathogen having been altered or created and then released is as probable as any explanation…
Because we still don’t know ;)
As long as information to do with vaccine research and development and government medical contracts etc remain classified and unavailable to the public, well, more myths will be created and will remain - and maybe that is for a specific purpose ;)
The lab leak ‘theory’ is a theory as good as any of the myths mentioned above…
And, maybe we’ll never know ;)
The media, in the meantime, in any form - creates most of the myths, the government and medical experts spruik and also then try debunk the myths…
All for a captive audience ;)
Many have been fascinated and even overwhelmed by the ongoing absurdity of this whole thing - and that keeps us in the game ;) $$$
Maybe that’s the job of an ‘expert’ ;);)
Yet ….maybe we’ll never know.
It would be lovely to have someone to blame or a cause to fight or fight against.
Maybe that’s all anyone is really trying to reconcile…
- having to accept that reality ;)
Getting on with things is good.
Asking questions is good.
They can co exist.
Haha…
Well played AndyM.
U had me reaching for my gas mask ;)
Don’t ever forget what government did to make sure you get a shit vaccine that didn’t work
For you, burleighKaren. Free yourself.

Burley goes from attitude of not giving a fuck about anyone but himself over the vax and these days he is caring and worried about everyone , even Minstrels cycles
Confusing
Toadkill, you got conned by big pharma/governments working hand in hand to get 4 jabs, think about how sick you got with the virus the 4 jabs was "protecting" you from.
Why do you want to let it go?
If i vaccinated my dog 4 times in 12 months for rabies and my dog still caught rabies and got super sick i would be asking some questions.....
P.S not calling you a dog. I like dogs.

I can imagine Burls on a minstrel cycle, peddling up to check the surf at Goodwin Terrace, gently plucking at his lute and entertaining the gathered Brazilians.
burleigh, you don’t even post how many jabs I have had correctly. :)

Okay I'm a fool for believing the proven medical science of vaccinations actually helping in reducing severity of disease and you are the all knowing wise one, obsessed with not getting a vaccine.

$cience is the correct spelling you’re looking for Indo.

You should really get a tetanus shot for Indo, easy and long lasting
Ive never had a rabies shot, but years ago i was visiting an expat friend in Bali I hadn't seen for like 15 years and his friend just died of rabies after being bitten by a dog so it's real.
Obviously the risk are always low anywhere but in Indo the risk of many things is still much higher than Australia and very real, a lot of people do get or die from completely preventable disease in Indonesia.
One of my wife's aunties even has fucked up legs from Polo from long ago.

That was such a shit time and with dark messaging. Family and friends fully vaxxed and or boostered and still freaking out of seeing each other after 2 years of waiting. Certain members of my in laws behaved very poorly during that time.

Well here we go again. Roll up the sleeve Roadkill, AndyM and Indo the media machine has kicked into gear.
FOR YOUR 5TH COVID JAB.

That will give you something to irrationally squawk about, hey burleighKaren.
No more jabs for me. 3 is the limit. Happy to have 3 as I’m off to Japan and Korea in a couple of weeks….and you can stay in your Mummy’s garage conversion shouting at your computer screen.
Bedwetter.
It's amazing someone could care so much about not wanting to get a vaccination.
So AndyM & Roadkill are out. no reason as to why but they must not trust the science anymore. The same science they have been banging on about.
Indo, You up for your 5th?
@burleigh Why are you pushing people to publicly declare their confidential medical information? I thought you were very against that.
flollo wrote:@burleigh Why are you pushing people to publicly declare their confidential medical information? I thought you were very against that.
I am against it. But the bed wetters here are all for it. So if they are all for it then they should have no issue letting us know if they still trust the science.
burleigh wrote:Indo, You up for your 5th?
I havent had a 4th, and havent had Covid yet (which is a natural boaster) but i dont think it's necessary with Omicron, i dont think most people need boasters for omicron unless higher risk groups.
That said if i needed to get boasted to travel etc, 100% id have no problem with getting another boaster.
And IMHO for someone like Roadkill who sounds like he reacted very badly to Covid, i think it would be smart for him to get a boaster especially if traveling to lessen the effect of Covid it could be the difference between a few days of flue like symptoms or being very sick for two weeks.
Sorry, but I can’t stop laughing.
I don’t mind sharing my jab status.. I’ve had 3 mRNA jabs, but that’s it, no more thanks.
I regret getting them now that it’s clear that most the population didn’t need to, but it was hard to judge at the time and to spend a couple months in Europe this yr I was required to get the 3rd.
No idea if I’ve had covid yet but I’d say very good chance I have (got a sniffle now actually).
No symptoms from any of the jabs, went surfing later in day after each except the 3rd.
I don’t care about whether people have had 5 jabs or none, have had covid or not, etc. I treat everyone with the same respect regardless.
I believe we should be given the free choice to decide for ourselves if we want to get jabbed for covid with no implications or ramifications for our choice.
I really think the whole covid thing is dead in the water now.
Wow Indo. That’s pretty weird mate.
My thoughts are the government and legal drug dealers feeding the addicted covidiots.
If anyone lines up for a 5th jab you are not well in the head.
Or maybe you need to take the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in order to make the 5th finally work.
Or the boosters booster is ready for another booster.
I’ll get mine on the 30th Feb 2023.
Burleigh, I asked you back in Feb what your advice would be (if you were "heading up the Advisory Committee for the next pandemic") regarding a potential new variant of Ebola entering the country.
Today's news - mainstream or otherwise - is: "Ebola strain for which there is no vaccine hits Uganda's capital". Last line of the article: "Ebola generally kills about half of the people it infects."
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-11-09/uganda-shortens-school-term-by-tw...
For the record, your advice was for "Early treatments" (not currently possible, as there is no vaccine) and also "build a few wave pools that are lockdown free".
Supafreak wrote:Sorry, but I can’t stop laughing.
Me either, Supafreak . The brains trust in full action. Such a powerhouse of scientific information.
I’ll laugh at you all when you or your loved ones really need some form of serious medical (science) treatment to save a life or two. It’s about time you all grow up.
Alfred I've come to the conclusion that a computer keyboard tends to stop brain cell stimulation past the age of a 10 year old for some. Maybe we can all agree that the term "bedwetters" is better suited to a bit of junior school playground verbal abuse.
"If we are agreed that there is nothing we can be absolutely sure about, that we have no monopoly on the truth, that there is something to be learned, why is each side so frightened about having the principles of the other expounded? Why, on Soviet television, is there no serious and systematic exposition of the presumptive virtues of free enterprise by someone who holds those views? Why, on American television, is there no consistent exposition of socialism and its purported virtues by people who hold those points of view? What is each side afraid of? What’s wrong with a little understanding of what the other side believes? Maybe there is something that can be understood. Maybe there is something that can be used. The fact that both sides are so reluctant to have the philosophy and theology of the other expounded to its people suggests that neither side is fully confident that it has convinced its own people of the truth of its doctrine. And that, of course, is a dangerous circumstance."

Could say then that the vaccine(s) may have worked i.e reduced the severity of any disease?
That’s the difficulty with preventative medication, hard to quantify it’s effectiveness.
"there is nothing we can be absolutely sure about, that we have no monopoly on the truth"
This is the problem with post-modernism or relativism or whatever this fits under.
People use this specious little concept to support the most ridiculous of theories, from pyramids in the Antarctic, to the ability of the body to naturally deal with smallpox or polio, to the possibility of people walking through solid walls.
We need to accept that there are universalities - if we continue with the trend of relativism we end up with (if we haven't already) a society which has lost any common ground from which to start discussions, and this is a big problem for democracy, now and into the future.
If nothing else, it will provide highly fertile ground for demagogues and populists.

Very noticeable that you left out the body naturally dealing with covid and instead used Polio & smallpox. 2 viruses that have not been discussed in this forum.
I'm confused with you, roadkill & indo. You keep telling us about science and trusting medical experts. The same experts that are already recommending a 4th dose and soon to be 5th dose.
But from what i understand you are not getting the 4th or 5th jab that these experts are recommending. Do you not trust these experts anymore?
Does this make you anti covid vax?
Just browsing the online shitrag that is News.com today and came across this article on the Queen and how it was portrayed she was using Ivermectin, when according to the article she wasn't. Note the language used..particularly the use of the word 'dangerous'.
https://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/current-affairs/channel-9-apolo...
Then i looked up an article about Ivermectin pre Covid and found this one...
https://www.isglobal.org/en/healthisglobal/-/custom-blog-portlet/ivermec...
Note the line: "Because of its excellent safety profile and broad spectrum of activity, ivermectin is catalogued by the World Health Organisation as an essential medicine and is regarded by many as a "magic bullet" for global health."
Alot of talk on these forums lately is about trusting the science, listening to the experts, most of which use the big media giants as their platforms to broadcast information. If you choose to question what is pumped out adnauseum to you these days you're labelled a tin foil hatter, a conspiracy theorist and accused of posting misinformation.
I just wonder what other peoples thoughts are on the media narrative as opposed to doing your own research. I once trusted the media alot more, however in this day and age, when we have soooo much information available at the touch of a keypad, some false, some verifiable, it's hard to trust the media when you can easily catch them out in blatant lies, or at the very least, misleading the public as shown above.
Anyway, that's my thoughts. Wondering on others. Just gonna read, not going to chirp in on this one.
