Wow.
That’s pretty messed up…maybe she conned police into thinking she was family of something. Lax attitude by the cops.
Still can't believe it. I'm not ashamed to admit i shed many tears on the day he passed. A national icon. It's confronting to accept someone you've never met and have only seen through visual imagery and audiocast can have such a profound effect on you. Makes you wonder if people have been put on this earth for a reason. I think we were all meant to learn from Warney. He's always been a hero to me and i think from the feedback since his death he has been a most wondrous spirit in the life of all. He was sent to us for a reason. Vale Warney. Never met but felt your energy pure and from it's source.
And blow me down, those deliveries just get better with time. I saw heaps of them in real time, but to watch them now, against the judgement of father time....they surpass everything that has come since, by a country mile. His physique and strength and dexterity were a deadly combination, and so out of the box! Could watch Warney bowl all day long. You knew you were in for an epic afternoons viewing when he was bowling with McGrath at the other end. The legend of these two, and Warney will only fully be appreciated long after we've vacated this rock.
Seeing him at Adelaide oval turn a test match on its head was amazing.
I’ll be telling my kids about that day
Like my dad tells me about being at Adelaide oval watching lillee and Thommo
Like my grandad told me about watching Bradman.
Amazing game cricket
Was that on day 5 against the poms roger?
Was there that day - one of the most exciting games of cricket ive ever seen
Wow isn't this exciting, negative line bowling getting padded away ball after ball
Yeah sure was MWM
2006 second test
Great stuff by the Aussies in the field. Just need to snavel this last one. Setting it up nicely…
Sorted!
Epic fight back by Pakistan. Aussies might be ruing that early declaration. We shall see….
Probably a good call though not to enforce the follow on.
Yeah definitely. If Pakistan chase them down it would have to be some sort of record, surely.
Wow.... bit of life left in the game..
Late on Day 5. Can’t ask for much more than that.
Cummins & Starc bowling magnificently. Maybe a result either way in this last test.
Getting interesting now. 6 for 213.
Tantalising….
7 for213.
8 for 227, we may do this. Oh and Buddy has 1 more to hit 1000 career goals.
9 fer
Epic!
Nathan Lyon doing the biz.
Buddy!
Buddy has just kicked his thousandth. Amazing scenes.
And Paddy Cummins takes the last wicket!
Sport was the winner tonight fer sure.
Absolutely Blackers! Crazy scenes at the SCG! Epic win by the Aussies!

Haha. Brilliant!!
Onya Richie!!
Bit of cricket going on. Found this amusing, Stuart Broad conceding a new record total for an over in a test. Well done son, couldn’t happen to a more deserving individual.

Old Broady has grown on me a bit blackers. I used to find him insufferable. Seems more grounded now. Less in your face, more relatable. But like Gab Medina.
Gotta say he seemed to take it in good humour.
I can’t disagree with you there etarip, but I have always been astounded at how many wickets he takes. Bowls complete dross so much of the time, but somehow magics up the unplayable. Just pleased to see him get whacked about at home, by a tail ender. Btw, loving your work in the USofA forum.
To all the cricket tragics out there, and also to all the fans of Aussie sport, now that we're just days out from the South African test series..., there's probably never been a better time to watch this doco from the infamous Aussie tour of Sth Africa from a few yearss ago to relive the dramatics from that series and put this test into context. .
And the real kicker to go with it is that Davey Warner is in the headlines again and fighting for his place on the Aussie team, just as they face up to the Zaffas again. How's that gonna go down!!?? Smith playing and up and about and maybe even captaining again..and lots of the same crew that were there in the S.A tour. Really feels like anything could and is about to happen Bring it on! Come on Aussies!

There's an opportunity for a sports study grant. What grit in what conditions provides the ultimate swing??
Two for two from two
@pops, i reckon the Aussies have their tails up after the W.I thumping, but hopefully not a false sense of security. We seem to have a pretty good balance of bat and ball, with some absolute top shelfers to rival the Warney/Waugh/Hayden/Langer/McGrath days. As much as Warner polarises people, i'd really love to see him find his form and have a belter this test. Imagine that for your ultimate redemption and to walk away from this series with a couple of tons and a win after all the shamozzle of the last tour. Having said that i have a feeling he's gonna crumble under pressure and they might drop him after the first test. I don't know enough about Sth Africas team but they always bring the heat and they'll be frothing to get at the Aussies again. There's gonna be plenty of stories within the story! That's for sure.
You??
Holy fark. Sydney Thunder, all out for 15. Lowest score ever in T-20 cricket, ever in the history of the game. Hectic!
That's crazy
Aussies on fire!! Could handle this for the next few days....Pipe contest finishing just as the first balls bowled. Out of the water for another week so frothing on sport! Go Aussies!

Dodgy pitch? Or just great bowling? 34 wickets in 5 and a bit sessions is a bit of a worry.

Nah. Pretty good wicket that may have been a tad too juicy. It’s a fine line. Some great bowling & some poor application in the batting department. I’d rather watch two days of that than five days of the recent Perth test.
Hi Rabs. Great to see you back about on here Agreed on the preference of watching that over a 5 day slog to nothing. Did seem that alot of the commentary was about how the pitch really was too green. I'm no expert but if i look out my front window, the grass on my lawn isn't as green as what that pitch was! hehe. I think the Aussies have a slight edge over the zaffas, but it's a pretty even match, especialy in the bowling department. Warner must be looking over his shoulder by now. Would love to see him make a big statement century or two.
I reckon it was more about poor batting than the pitch in the end. I agree that both teams bowling attack are really good, but when you compare the batting it's like chalk and cheese. From an Aussie standpoint, the only questions to be asked are around Warner and Green. I'm happy to ride with them both, but I want to see Warner potentially go out on a high and Green live up to his great potential which he's given glimpses of, but not quite delivered on.
