The United States(!) of A
Shows how low MAGA is going , to try to steal the election ,when they lose .
Happy to cheat.
Pretty much a week to go.
Betting market is clearly favouring Trump
Polls are neck and neck.
At this stage there is a lot of media and videos pumping up the position of both sides being positive about early voting numbers.
Personally id take everything they say with a grain of salt.
My heart says Trump will win.
My head says Harris will win on the back of women being more motivated to vote.
I think its pretty crazy that it looks this close, id have never thought Trump would have another chance.
But here we are.
Might even come down to who wins one state like Pennsylvania (that trump has an almost irrelevant 0.2% lead on based on 88 polls)
Any odds on civil war if trump loses ?
Supafreak wrote:Any odds on civil war if trump loses ?
My predication one of two things will happen.
If Trump loses people will go out on the streets having a hissy fit and the media will call it riots.
If Harris loses people will hit the streets having a hissy fit, and the media will call it a peaceful protest.
Supafreak wrote:Any odds on civil war if trump loses ?
If war breaks out I don't expect the two sides to be civil to each other. Probably quite rude.
^^^ Boom !
That MAGA Madison Square Garden circus did Trump no favours. The crazy speakers lost him a ton of votes and helped a heap of undecided voters decide on Harris. Imo.
Is that the WW3?
Explains how the Republican controlled House
Has shut down debate to the disadvantage
of the American people,
in order to make the Biden administration
look bad
Already an authoritarian regime.planning to steal the election.
Indo and pop down think it’s great though.
Poor joke Roady .
The comedian ( not Trump ) may have lost Trump a few Undecided's .
Maybe Vance will win them back , while chatting 2 Rogan ?
He is filling in for Harris's Gig , as Rogan couldn't give HER the ONE Hour she Demanded , at HER place .
Lots of People , like Joe Biden , have Voted .
The Votes are NOT counted Yet , but the Voters Party IS !
Those Votes look VERY Different 2 normal and it's happen ALL over the US .
Very Interesting ( Laugh In ) .
edit
Jules , if possible and in most cases , an Opposition Parties JOB , is 2 make the other side look bad .
As the Republican Party are a bunch of losers , they are Lucky their JOB was made so easy .
@ pop down
Well watch the video if you really want to
know, from someone who knows what they’re talking about ,a congressman!
Hello Juliang
I was thinking to change my view and check out 1 of your " Jules Vern Clip's " ,
Then U mentioned he was a Congressman and I don't like Politicians much ( is he a Demo :)) .
So unfortunately , have decided I "REALLY" don't want 2 know , what the Guy said and can't afford 2 Catch Utuby disease .
I think I have heard enough and I don't Vote ffs !
If U summarise his main points into an Exec Summary , with Conclusion , I would read that .
Have fun .

If you don’t have the attention span or time
to view video,
You’ll just have to keep making guesses
and assumptions,
Because I’ve got other things to do as well.
and so it begins

None, a few more good ole boys might do some stupid things and end up in jail but that's it. It may be Hollywood but this movie clip was based on real life events sure enough, a time when the US was arguably more divided than today ... the Civil Rights Movement: Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Martin L King, the marches, riots, etc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_rights_movement

yep
they are fucking dumb
instead of just trying to be normal and ride out their little momentum until election day...
they do dumb shit like this
right wing nutters simply cannot contain their inner miserableness...

whatever dude...
when trump won 2016, the left went into full unhinged nasty woman meltdown...
this time will be much worse
https://m.
that was a gutless left wing nutter professor btw, hiding in the crowd, then smashing some seemingly innocent harmless trump supporter on the head with his bike lock...
the good video, showing the full confrontation, and the pathetic professor scurrying for his life when some 5 foot weedy but feisty trumpy confronted them, has been erased from the internet
funny that...

I just heard apparently , everyone’s hero,
Joe Rogan , suggested to Trump , that he should get a comedian , for his
Madison Square Garden, hate carnival.
The dumb leading the dumber?
re the stuff on this thread, that doesn't directly matter to us,
(awesome we have @wax24, and some sn travellers, to keep us grounded and give context),
2IC (pres of the senate) should be Dwayne Douglas Johnson (as @adam12 has said).
Jesse Welles for supreme leader, however,
he makes people go.. umm.. yupp.. gotcha.

Yeah both sides are as bad as each other,
except maybe for an insurrection, riot,
storming of the Capital Building , attempt at overthrowing the election, cop bashing ,issue.
yeh, that 6 months of soros sponsored blm cop bashing was off the charts..
30 odd people dead
much worse than the 1 (trump supporter) that died at the capitol riots
6 months of it!
egged on and funded by the dems
crazy times...
Roadkill wrote:That MAGA Madison Square Garden circus did Trump no favours. The crazy speakers lost him a ton of votes and helped a heap of undecided voters decide on Harris. Imo.
I dont think so and here is why.
If people are not going to vote for Trump based on something dumb being said they would have chosen not to vote for Trump long ago.
And if they really are undecided voters at this stage, they will probably still be undecided next week and just not vote.
Campaigning at this stage isnt so much about changing people's minds, its about getting them motivated to vote.
Who can motivate their supporters to vote wins.
Its very different than Australia.
it's pure voyeurism, with a justification, that there will be flow on economic, cultural, and societal effect..
amazing how this stuff gets certain people's juices flowing,
every shepherd convention needs ten thousand sheep,
collectively 100,000 watchers to validate them sheep conventions,
you need 10 opinions to make a functional league.
you need 1 million to take an interest when it's not even your monkeys at the sheep shows.
booyakashah, got yourself an industry.
fuck me, don't the sheep love a billioner?? or even miwyun-er. cream their pants over them.
hoowee.. wow, a shepherd with a biwyun biwyun biwyun..
must be very unhappy people, to admire biwyun-heirs.
Good chop bruddahs. We's fucking killing it!!
(agree with many of your recent points @indo)
"Its very different than Australia"
hope so. in perpetuity.
yes and no indo...
guy on 7.30 report last night imports carpets to US from middle east. said he "loves" trump's policies - but cannot stand the man and his vulgarity...
said he'll vote trump anyway - despite trump's tariffs impacting his business
something like well over 60% of voters actually agree with his policies
same for believing the dems have weaponised the doj etc. with their 'lawfare' against trump
similar results for believing there are questions about the 'stolen election
all of these three key issues get around a 30% of democrats agreeing!
yet the media carry on like you have to be a 'far right' MAGA twit to even consider these positions...
on the above numbers... trump should be smashing it out of the park...
but here we are... a super tight 50/50... with political violence and instability on the menu for another 4 years...
the left like to think they have a monopoly on civility and things like racism. but the truth is, people across the spectrum don't like trump's trumpyness...
and he pays for it
as fun - and justified - as it may be to 'trigger liberals'
there's a price for the gratuitous self indulgence in such things...
reckon people are over-rating the whole 'teams' thing..
cos they have their heads up their interweb socials?
I know no-one that hates trump,
or has an opinion about harris.
cos we live in Australia.
@wax? do yanks delight in inconsequential Aussies
having opinions about things that affect people there?
The whole campaign is just too long. The US folks must be getting sick of it by now. Or maybe not.

Yes but every Ozzie has skin in the game, even those that don’t live there (Australia ) …….apparently.
So we had Trump saving the cats and dogs in that glorious meme, there's been exploding ballot boxes, and I've found this headline again with an animal theme:
'Putin's pro-Trump trolls accuse Harris of poaching rhinos'
https://www.theregister.com/2024/10/25/russia_china_iran_election_disinfo/
It's been a fairly full election campaign.
Clean up on aisle 5.
Biden has a 'deplorable' moment.
Just watched all of Kamala's Washington DC speech.
Geez she spoke well.
I'd put that down as one of the great political speeches i've ever seen.
Of course I'm biased, and i tried to watch it through that lens....
But she looks every bit a president.
Good luck to her.
I really hope she brings it home. She's a damn good human being.
I think we are affected by who wins.
I wouldn't say I hate Trump but when he got voted out last time the wife and I said hallelujah, thank fuck we don't have to see this smug, rude, disrespectful piece of shit on telly every night telling us how great he is and sending bad vibes and negativity into our lives. He is so in your face and can't stand not being the center of attention for 5 mins, has the intellect of a spoilt 12-year-old, and has to force his opinion on everything down everyone's throat.
We saw more of Trump in his 4 years than all the previous Presidents in my lifetime put together.
The best politicians are the ones you see the least of. Fuck off.
Agreed @wiseolddog.
‘Trump wins 52 times out of 100
in our simulations of the 2024 presidential election.
Harris wins 48 times out of 100.
There is a less than 1-in-100 chance of no Electoral College winner.’
I hope Harris wins. I like stability, even when it’s not perfect. Trump brings chaos and isolationism. I cannot support that.

I share the same sentiment old- dog.
The fake tan, the hair, the mannerisms, the insults, the abuse: the negatives are endless. So many things just put me off.
While he may be good for the stock market and my super balance, I’d rather see Harris win. She seems a much more balanced and rational type of person who would not act on impulse.

yep, if we must have an opinion, in Aus, 90% would support Harris, 10% would support donald and look around the room, hoping for attention. (PoppaD gave me these stats, I trust 'em ; )
I’ve always liked Tulsi , she and Bernie would have made a great team, she obviously didn’t fit in with the clinton’s “ vision “ but to say Trump is the US of As best hope shows how farked they are .

It's all too late. Trust has been eroded and the ground has been ceded to outlets such as The Free Press who cover the American news without being part of any political tribe.

And she's a surfer.
SURF'S UP: Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard catches a wave, kicking off the new decade by surfing in early primary state New Hampshire.

That footage of Ivanka "surfing" at the ranch illustrates everything that is wrong with todays world. Is it even real, it looks like she has been stitched in on a green screen. The comments like go girl, keep on ripping, mastered it, amazing, girl you rock, make it look so easy etc. are cringeworthy and shows how easily people are conned by the Trumps.
There is another clip of her surfing a boat wake while doing a bikini shoot with perfect hair and makeup and shots of her attempting to stand on a 10' softie in 6" of whitewater without success.
Everyone wants to jump on the surfing bandwagon to show how cool they are.

Basey… i was just on my balcony. Third story of a 3 story apt bldg. It overlooks a school. The school is K-6. (which means kindergarten (a kinda elevated pre-school) thru to 6th grade.
Your typical 6th grade grom is 11 years old.
Anyways, the gymnasium was pumpin!
A first rate basketball tilt was underway.
I heard the rhythmic cheers i used to hear when I was 11 years old and starring? in these athletics…
“GOOO… TEEEEAAM… GOOOO!!!
Little grommet cheerleaders.
Warms the heart, anyways….
These peeps in this hood?
Brown.
Very few of em were born here.
The kids? Possibly.
Hard workin folks, no crime, i exchange hearty well meant “go wells” every day.
I don’t know many first names, but that is more to do with my aloofness. I talk a lot at work, in meetings, in the community, so by the time i turn off the car in the lot… i’m past done.
Anyways…. interesting and comforting to see… the culture and way of life being picked up.
I understand they are eatin cats and dogs in Springfield, but, here, we all get along and regard other warmly.
(shrug)
and may the USA continue to be great in that regard, at least @wax.
Led the world, not since the Roman Empire has a place embraced so many cultures,
and revelled in it, we grew up watching Sesame Street here, we know y'all pretty well.
