My mate has one those things. Noisy bugger.
I think sightings of wild colonies of non native Ringnecks are meant to be reported in most states. Might want to check with your local Gov on that one. Pretty sure they're considered a big threat if they get established in the wild here.
Thanks crew, was a special encounter with the fading golden light and the parrot letting me get right up close. Stoked.
Good point tubeshooter, have wondered about that. Will get in touch with them.
@distracted, we are southern burbs of Melbourne, lockdown capital of the World!
Zenagain - I think I read a few years ago that the Bower Bird moves more dirt per year than any other animal on the face of the earth . By a long way .
@GuySmiley;
The action is best just left of that shot if Im correct?
cheers blackers ,A quick check on google confirms all wild sightings should reported to the National Animal Pest Alert on 1800 084 881 .
Grampians? Looks very like the Blueys.
Nice view Guy, it will be nice to get back to those places again. Have great memories of Black Heath and Kangaroo Valley from a previous life...
Also, thanks for the info Tubeshooter. I did the same after reading your earlier post and notified the Department of Ag who are responsible here. Got a reply within 20 mins - was quite impressed.
Thought so! Beautiful zones.
@Blackers lucky you’ve got some wildlife to keep you entertained!
@Hutchy Maybe a Mallefowl or a Brush Turkey. Bowerbird is too busy dancing to be shifting dirt.
That's great Blackers , keep us posted.
I only remembered cos my mate had two of them until one got out and he mentioned calling the gov about it. Having glanced some info on them the potential for devastation if a breeding colony gets established seems massive . Better safe than sorry and thanks for looking into it.
Jeez that's stunning Guy.
Great photos guys keep them coming
Wow, GF that's crazy!
Here's a couple from the last two days..
2nd that I Focus, fantastic photos on this, love the spider craig
Yeah living on the Northern Beaches is far from being locked down. An absolute playground.
i used to live at north steyne years ago for a few months house sitting and another time at clareville for a few months...........great spots so close to the city....best of both worlds.....hard to beat .
Yeah it's got it all and you don't even realise that Sydney, the city is right there. Hardly go over that side. If the beaches were located more regional they'd be an insane wave paradise well worth the trip every time.
Pump the brakes Craig.
Haha, knew you'd pop up Blowin.
You were definitely using the right bait.
The results of being proactive in lockdown. Seeing a lot of reactive behaviour during these covid years. Look at what you’ve got, not what you havn't got. Loving those National park photos Craig, think I’ll book myself in for a walk there later on. Always wanted to ride that ferry across now I’ve got a reason for it
Lush scenes there Shorey! Where about is that dam? Beautiful wilderness and those waves!
Ah found it!
Yesterday evening, might get this one printed!
Wicked photo and colours to boot.
Great shot Craig. I really like the wider view, as Zen says above, the colours pop.
Yeah insane light eh! Thanks.
Did this extra edit..
Great lighting BB. Welcome back.
Thanks blackers. Early morning light through the lounge room window.
Nice Blindboy and welcome back.
Thanks Craig. Was that shot of yours North Curl Curl?
A day sunbaking near kuta reef
I've posted him twice since Mr Einstein is such a handsome magpie
What's for lunch cuuuuuuuunt?
Haha and yeah NCC BB.
Just had a look at these, some great shots.
Love the spider shot Craig.
In semi lockdown I'm finally sorting through a lifetime of photos and inspired by what Craig and Andy recently posted I thought why not.
We travel a fair bit and there has to be some crackers in the vaults.
Good if we follow the Swellnet tradition of not naming or being too obvious.
