Do you think that if open public debate , with experts that could shoot down Malone and McCullough concerns around mRNA vaccines, then wouldn’t that better serve the public ? By attempting to silence them just makes many people even more suspicious of government and big pharma . The challenge has been thrown at anyone wanting an open debate many times now but no one’s taking them on face to face which is what’s needed. Why not challenge them and prove what they are claiming is bullshit ( I personally believe a lot of it is BS but not all of it ) It just raises suspicion and there hasn’t been a lot of transparency from government or pig pharma .

I've seen plenty of snippets of rebuttals here and there on social media (the algorithm feeds them to me - I'm not searching them out). Funnily enough, the comments section of such rebuttals are typically awash with threats of violence, racist attacks and deep, dark conspiracy shit - with the commenters arguing about how this 'clown' (i.e. person making the rebuttal) is an actor paid by the state, or they're bringing on trying to kill your kids or whatever. You know, standard Burleigh craziness.

Now - most of these nutbags are known for fairly intense cyber bullying/attacks (couple of good examples here - paging Bluediamond & Soggydog?), and they're also quite capable of the odd real threat of violence too.

So - in a public debate - not only would the poor bloke/lady going up against Malone have to deal with a opposing crowd who will almost entirely reject whatever they say, they may also end up with threats of violence.

Oh, and there's also the fact that engaging with such craziness is hugely detrimental to one's own professional position.

And the bullshit asymmetry principal.

to name a few reasons....

"Scientists have always debated their differences in the past , so what’s changed ? Why can’t ‘ the science ‘ be debated ?"
Supafreak, it can be debated but the platform has changed significantly. Academics debated science in a disciplined environment where bullshit was dismissed never to be heard again.
What we are now seeing is the Wild West of science where the loudest voice (not the most reasonable voice) gets heard. There's no academic discipline to Rogan getting on some plonker and giving discredited options a massive platform. Public health needs disciplined research that gets peer reviewed by multiple experts. Rogen just platforms people who's opinions don't stand up to any academic rigour.
Stok is right. Who would take on Malone in this environment on a platform not suited for thorough research. A platform with a completely unhinged and/or ignorant audience? That would actually be dangerous and achieve nothing.
We need to get science back into universities and hospitals. Carnival barkers like Rogan are in it for the money. He's simply amplifying clowns who rate well to increase his audience and improve his own bank balance. That shit has consequences. Not good ones.

Important News for positive pet Owners!

tbb was searching for reasons of Monsoon Covid Virus...flies & wot not...
This is a new field of research that Experts have few > rather...no answers for.
By the way...Yes! Flies spread Covid for 24hrs + surfaces remain damp longer..

Research led tbb to broaden the species to Ticks then Pets ...(Being inside thru Summer Rains!)

Started freaking out about this mad rush on Kitty Litter...Wot's with that?
Dunny Rolls / Tissues / RATS / Kitty Litter ? WTF...

Penny Dropped!
Experts have recently been hiding the ugly fact that Covid is well ripe in Feces....How Ripe!
Well! They know it can reinfect but choose not to go there...as that's the last place any wish to dig thru!
Brings us back to the Kitty Litter War in isle 4.

Here's the freakout...this article only made print yesterday...but it's a real wake up call.
Has the Virus made the Jump...
Covid owner infects the pet Cat that gets sick but fails the Nozzle Swizzle Test (Quite a relief!)
But wait! The Pet shits out Highly Infectious [+] Poop...Oops! that sounds like a Mandated pet cat cull.
All recall the Minks never had a say! (Too bad So sad!) Bye Bye #1 YouTube Divas!

Note! If half the Population will soon have covid then 200 million [+] Cats...will likely have / had Covid.
One must assume if Delta can infect the Pet then surely this has been going on for some time! Shh!
This Covid poop is well infectious in the Kitty Litter Tray...
That explains the rush on Kitty Litter...reckon the Pet owners know more than their lettin' on!
Be sure to kit up when emptying the doo doo!

Just saying! If this news gets out...
Better get yer Cat Vaxed & grab a few Quarry Loads of Kitty Litter before Gina buys all that as well!
Wouldn't hurt to throw a few ivermectin worm tabs in the food bowl! The Cat's Bowl that is!

This story is unbelievable...(Apparently the first Spillover in US!)
What's alarming is this could infect another who takes out the Poop (eg: Owner > Cat > Vet > Kid & on.)
See...none would expect this & may well long be the case...who's to say cats have not been spreaders!
Almost like the Kidz story all over again...Experts : "Don't be silly...Cats can't give you Covid!" Good one!

Just watched a vid on whatsdoin media, of a bloke on the microphone addressing the crowd of peanuts, with a raspy voice which can only be due to excessive amounts of winnie blues and Aldi cans, saying:

"if I had it my way, I'd get everyone out of Canberra, then send in the bombers and turn it into a 9/11 monument, that's just my opinion"

He said this standing next to Malcolm Roberts addressing a crowd who were throwing up the odd confused cheer. I mean, af least he said he'd get everyone out first right?

He also threw a thinly veiled threat to Malcolm Roberts, effectively saying he needs to pick his side otherwise he'll be thrown out when they 'win the war'.

Seriously, these people are the faces and brains(!) behind these pushes to overthrow gov, and they've hook line and sinkered the gullible vaccine hesitant crew who have bought in. These people push the misinformation, push the questions, the doubt and the downright stupid ideologies which have led people down these rabbit holes where they honestly think the government and big pharma are trying to hurt them.

Also note they're well short on test supplies...so we're left guessin' as to any [+] Pets
There has been growing talk of further species spillovers with recent variants.

Sorry Blowin, my bad, let me dumb it down for you.

If you ask people stupid questions in a poll, where the question is broad and may be difficult for people to truly weigh up all pros & cons, you get stupid results.

For example, most people would hastily say they don't want to pay parking fines, but when you explain to them without some form of parking control our cities will be a shit fight of people leaving their cars everywhere, they may think otherwise.

Please Blowin, you're mixed up in mish mash of populism fantasy.

We have a democracy, so does Canada. Canadians are smart enough to weigh up party policies before the make their vote. A simple poll doesn't hold the same value or attention - hence the results will usually be of low meaning. Particularly when the question posed is so plain old dumb.

So we should put everything to referendum right?

Or, if >50% of the population disagree with a policy - is it time to charge parliament house and let the 50% rule in manner they see fit?

Is that sort of self centred lunacy which has annoyingly become semi acceptable to some people over the last couple of years, which if left unchecked will begin to unravel society.

"It’s obviously not easy to give up fear of Covid-19, to judge from a recent survey showing that the vaccinated are actually more frightened than the unvaccinated. Another survey found that most Democratic voters are so worried that they want to make it illegal for the unvaccinated to leave home. But before you don another mask or disinfect another surface, before you cheer on politicians and school officials enforcing mandates, consider your odds of a fatal Covid case once you’ve been vaccinated.

Those odds can be gauged from a study by researchers at the National Institutes of Health, published by the Centers for Disease Control. They tracked more than 1 million vaccinated adults in America over most of last year, including the period when the Delta variant was surging, and classified victims of Covid according to risk factors such as being over 65, being immunosuppressed, or suffering from diabetes or chronic diseases of the heart, kidney, lungs, liver or brain.

The researchers report that none of the healthy people under 65 had a severe case of Covid that required treatment in an intensive-care unit. Not a single one of these nearly 700,000 people died, and the risk was miniscule for most older people, too. Among vaccinated people over 65 without an underlying medical condition, only one person died. In all, there were 36 deaths, mostly among a small minority of older people with a multitude of comorbidities: the 3 percent of the sample that had at least four risk factors. Among everyone else, a group that included elderly people with one or two chronic conditions, there were just eight deaths among more than 1.2 million people, so their risk of dying was about 1 in 150,000.

Those are roughly the same odds that in the course of a year you will die in a fire, or that you’ll perish by falling down stairs. Going anywhere near automobiles is a bigger risk: you’re three times more likely during a given year to be killed while riding in a car, and also three times more likely to be a pedestrian casualty. The 150,000-to-1 odds of a Covid death are even longer than the odds over your lifetime of dying in an earthquake or being killed by lightning..."

"If those odds still aren’t enough to assuage your dread of Covid, consider one more statistic, based on Ioannidis’s analysis of data from Covid tests and seroprevalence surveys. He estimates that in the United States, a nation of 331 million people, there have been a total of 250 million to 350 million Covid infections since the pandemic began. While that estimate includes some people who were infected more than once, it seems clear that the vast majority of Americans have already survived an infection and acquired natural immunity, many without being aware of it. Many don’t realize—and a horde of journalists and public officials are working hard to keep them ignorant—that their enemy today is not a virus in the air but the fear in their minds."

Remember the carbon pricing legislation, brought in 10 years ago or whatever. I fundamentally believed it was a great initiative, and although it had rats and mice, was a step in the right direction. I was supportive of it.

Nek minit, lobby groups start having a big whinge, telling the public how the world will end unless we vote this mob out etc. etc. and what do you know, democracy in action? Abbot comes in, removes price on carbon, replaces it with some ridiculous scheme. Years later, Australia remains an extremely poor performer from an environmental perspective.

Now, one could say leaving large corps to have free reign and power over the quality of life our children and childrens children will have is pretty friggin important. Vaccine madates are a pittance compared to this - but - guess what? Did I ramp up the troops of dumbfucks, walk them to the steps of parliament house and demand to the Governor General, or Queen Elizabeth that the current Government is unlawful, and needs to be sacked under the grace of god (which is what people are doing)? Was I part of a movement which appealed to the lowest common denominator, that brought out the worst in people? Did I encourage supply chains to be disrupted?

No, I just didn't vote for Liberal in the ensuing election.

nice try to deplatform champ, again....

because you want to divert attention away from the inconveniant data, again...

the CDC study champ... you, you miserable fuck, have more chance of dying from a lightening strike than covid the study suggests...

but you old paranoid, terribly out of touch, fear mongering, dictator dan minions are still plugging away at mandates, and totally unscientific vaccinations for little kids...

nice try champ, but the numbers are all there...

(as are the posts, if one was inclined to that high school mean girl deplatforming type behaviours...)

carry on...

Hey Sypkan, I'm still waiting on your proof after you said I wanted Trump and Hanson supporters to die of Covid. Come on champ, that was your pathetic defence after I called you a fascist for wanting a recently elected PM violently removed from office.
Yes, you do have zero credibility.

It's not like spanky to go quiet haha
