So ive got a work conference in the goldy 5 days in august thought I would take the opportunity to get a few waves question is which wettie do I need this time of year? 3:2 steamer or will a spring suit be enough?

August is often the coldest month but a 3/2 sealed or unsealed should be toasty but not uncomfortable. even a short arm steamer should suffice.

You won't need a 3,2 steamer around these parts, lol, personally I have been wearing a springy upto now, surfing 2-3 hrs tops, would love to surf longer, I think it's time to go a short arm 2 m steamer, pmsl
