GoPro Camera Mounts (what to use?)
I use stick on surf mounts it works fine hasn't let me down yet, it looks a bit ugly when not in use but I can live with it. I imagine its cheaper than getting a plug put in and fcs plugs have let me down plenty of times when a fin is attached to them. An orange floaty door is good insurance against losing your gopro if it comes loose, also the stick on mounts have an extra mount with a "leg rope" to catch it if the main mount comes loose.
Nor sure about the Go Pro stick on mounts
but I have lost 3 of the contour stick on board mounts, and then finally the camera failed within 12 months and they wouldnt honour the warranty. The lesson
Stay with go pro
First of all let me say sorry, I'm sure this has been well covered before, but for whatever reason, my search isn't working.
Question is: Is getting an fcs plug and leash plug put into the front of my board better than the stick on surf mounts?
Also do people find the stick on mounts are annoying when nose riding (when the cam isn't attached)?
Thanks
Dan.
