Actually, I just realised they also left off 'The Boys Light Up' by Australian Crawl. Must be a Yank site.

Dave, the current Sydney buoy is an older model (Waverider Mk1, I believe) with an internal communication problem. They're looking to swap it over with a new Mk4 buoy in the near future.

I know what you mean Dave - but I don't think the previous outages (on the Sydney buoy) were especially frequent in years gone by. However, the software used to generate the buoy data actually runs on Windows (!) and I know that their servers would occasionally lock up. Sometimes during significant swell events - often associated with severe weather - the telemetry between the buoy and the receiving station (at Manly Vale) would be lost.

As for Port Kembla - MHL told me some time ago that the receiving station had poor quality reception of the buoy data. I think they may have relocated the receiving station - in any case the data feed of late has been excellent - much better than I have ever seen (before, I don't think I saw a single day without a drop out of some sort!).
