Did anyone catch the movie WaveRiders on tele late one nite last weekend. ?
It is an west coast Ireland / adventure flick documenting the life n time of George Freeth and Irish surfing.
Very unorthodox "surf" movie but fully captivating, albeit some B grade surfing. Cameo appearance from KS11, and also the Malloy Bros. But the real stars were the hard core Irish boys who in the end probably charge bigger Irish tow waves than the latest StormSurfers, and certainly more authentic from a viewing perspective.
I give it 5 stars, if you want soemthing different, its a must see.
