I'm after some advice from any shapers out there or professional board repairers. I've snapped an almost new board in two, the break is about 6 inches forward from where my front foot would usually land, my question is simply this: Is it worth my while to try and repair it? I'm generally of the opinion that it's not when their snapped in half, bit in this case it's not half, more like a third if that. How much would it cost? Do I really need to throw it in the wheely bin all shiny and new??

Not a shaper or board repairer but a friend just got one fixed for a clean snap. cost 120 bucks. Surfed it the other day and it took a few heavy landings in shoulder high shoreys. Just wouldn't count on it in anything bigger.
