Rate your Autumn.
Have only managed half a dozen surfs in May and similar in April.
Scored two really good days on two occasions out the reef, otherwise ok, but wind affected.
Off to Indo for 3 weeks. Feeling like an excited grom !!!
First 2 weeks of April were sensational, but that's because I was surfing in the Indian Ocean. March was good with respect to bank situation. May has been diabolical trying to find a good beachie bank, although I only surfed a handful of times in May as it was too depressing noting what we scored in the Indian Ocean in April.
This was a common enough sight.
Actually....maybe it should get an A-.
I rate the Sydney and surrounds region as A-
Swell has hardly dropped below 3ft for god knows how long, and we've had everything from E/NE to S'th.
Please no naming if you recognise spots..

well I had a great fun Autumn, maybe not great waves but alot of consistent small good waves,surfing my old haunts and finding some great banks and enjoying them almost by myself and combine that with riding mostly my dim-SIM which has been refrshingly fun and surfing with my son and being back on the Sunny Coast after 5 years away, it has to be at least an A-, if we are giving scores out....
Yeah, I would give it an A, but there's been a lot of south swells.
If there was a few more east swells in the mix then yeah for sure.
Looks like Friday and the weekend will be great as well!
This is the best Autumn I've experienced over here so far!
most of those waves deserve an A if not better , ones local about 100 ks north of pt mac has been the best its been for ages , as mr more said not the best but very very consistant and rippable so much time in the water can only be a good thing

this day was A+ and the whole week around this swell had to be an A, especially for around here....
craig - you could hardly call those spots secret, but hey maybe people don't recognise them.
All of may for me was spent in the mountains of SW china, but April was pretty good on East Coast tas and Sth Coast NSW.
Hoping for some more of the same next week, heading up Nth NSW coast.
Can I rate my winter already??
Have to say the start of Winter has been very good in vic, shot this on Sunday -
North Coast.

March was a bit lame-o though had plenty of pleasant head high surf.
April had plenty of moments, especially the end.
May was fucking superb.
Lots of shallow sandbars and tube-rides.
