So the Australian Embassy AKA the Australian taxpayer AKA me , has deigned it appropriate and cordial to try and buy back the affection of those Indonesians so disaffected by our foreign policies ( Drug smugglers, Refugees, Angry Muslims ) .

Good luck with that tactic.

If it wasn't my money I'd be doubled over with laughter.

So Let me get this right - the tax deducted from my hard graft in Australia is paying for a contest that will prohibit me from being able to surf in Bali.

So two dozen Brazilians can further their dreams of making surfing an even larger sport in Brazil.

Awesome.
