HIC Haleiwa Pro 2023
Nothing to do with the contest, but kinda involves a pretty well known Hawaiian surfer

“Accidental self inflicted gun shot” hmmm
Waimea is massive and clean right now on the cams.
Looks Eddieish sized. Not closing out but near enough.
It actually looks alot like the conditions they had for the 1990 Eddie.
Looks almost as good as Waimea gets, swell direction, size and winds.
Should be doing shit but can't stop watching it!
Which cam are you watching? The couple I’m looking at are really pulled back. Hard to see the action.
Over on the poor man's swellnet @seeds.
More zoomed in than the competition.
Thanks fellas
Big and beasty.
Some beautiful images from today.
Can only view through facebook unfortunately.

Thats crazy there is no webcast from Haleiwa.
A sign of how far the WSL has fallen.
I've watched some truly wretched webcasts of QS events and they can't manage to run one from Hawaii?
Brutal 3 wave clean up set at Pipe caught everyone, it's pumping.
Gonna miss a big swell by one day...
Starts on the 26th November - three days away - while on the 24th a very big swell hits the North Shore. It'll be too big for Haleiwa but the day after, the 25th, it should be pumping. Great size, direction, and very light winds from the east.
Opening day should still have some size, though dropping over the next few days, with strengthening ENE trades. Not much else in the waiting period.
No idea if it'll be webcast or not.
