Goldstein may be in a gold cabinet....but there's a reason he's been kept on ice.
Blokes a carnivore...eats pies in his sleep.
We have the ramp ready....release the troops!!
Lest we forget indeed. One very significant day, no matter what colours you represent.
Southernraw. Hi mate. Good game.
Anzac Day will see the ancient mummified gold embossed Pharaoh Goldstein rise up from his wealthy retirement village, finish the remains of an earlier hot drink He Brew and head out in his wheelchair, down the ramp, holding firmly onto Is Rael as he enters the colosseum to face the Pies.
A massacre he will face, like being fed to the lions.
Lest We Forget. AW

Hahahaha.
Speaking of gold, that was some top shelf gold from you AW.
Mate im frothing for Anzac day and the big Goldy onslaught!! Cox and Cameron must be a shakin in their black and white boots!

Don’t you love it when Hawthorn gets beaten. Even better, the sombre look on the face of the coach, Sam Mitchell. AW

Cats beating the Hawks almost as good a feeling as the Mighty Dons beating the Pies. Could the planets align for 2 in the space of a few days??
Good to see the Bombers released the Anzac Day team a few days early! ;-)

I wouldn’t think so. AW

Lets go Dons!!! Put these Pies on their arses in the spirit of the ANZACS!!

cheers @SR (and @indo for the thread), I'm going to try this epic afl spectacle the kids can't get enough of yet AGAIN.. got a hotel free-to-air telly.. when did collingwood become Ink-r-us, and essendon get gay punk guernseys?

Ohh you should be nervous Indo!! haha. Nah ur looking pretty shit hot already....but if we're gonna go down, i'm gonna go down swinging. Get a dog up ya you mangy feathery freaks!!
Yeah sick one Base!! Hope the Dons can produce something worth spending your arvo on. Ahh yeah, they love their tough stickers out there...although it's the quiet unmarked ones you've gotta watch (re.Nick Daicos the prick).

Bombers came with a bit of ANZAC spirit today. Great quarter!!!!
Carn mighty fucken Bombers!!!!

It's a good game to watch. Pies in bursts, Bongers continually playing catch up.

argh jeez we owned the Pies for the last hour...completely outplayed them....and then one critical turn over and they piled three goals on us and got momentum back. In for the fight though. Carn bombers. Smoke these black and white maggots and the little band of yellow maggots they paid to play with them today. Scum. All of them!!

Reckon yer cooked Southern, sorry to say.

Goldstein is playing well as tho.

Not as good at the Mount Burr Mozzies vs Port Mac Maggots will be tomorrow (AT Mount Burr! American Sam's burgers at the Mt Burr Store are the best!), but I've enjoyed the Who Wants to be a Millionaire version of the game again today ; ) Good fun, cheers! (Bonnie Prince Charlie post a good reminder to us all @blackers, nice one..)

youze were lucky i tells ya @indo and @AW!!!
We pretty much shot ourselves in the face in the third quarter.
I'll concede, you played an epic last quarter.
Bastards. I hate Collingwood!!
Enjoy your evening! C#nts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure is! Cop that @AW!!! hehe

As a long suffering Essendon fan, i did see something i hadn't see in a long time tonight from the Dons. It won't be mentioned in the washup, it'll get brushed over in history....but for the first time in 20 years, there was heart, fight and culture. But it almost seemed like they got given a high powered gun and didn't know what the fuck to do with it. They were the better team for a good part of the game, but they're so alien to being in that position these days, they got stage fright! They'll learn from this. Finally they can see how mighty and powerful they are. Up the mighty Dons!!!!!
(i know nobody believes this or cares....but it makes me feel better! )

If only Peter Daicos wore a condom.......

haha, *Billy.. geez I have mindfarts when I'm copping my fill of the city.. too much stimulus for a simple mind..

Hehe, twas noted but I can hardly bring it up given my own priors.

haha, cheers.. have a Sam burger..
“Politics and religion are not discussed in the shop,” says Sam.

And thus he is a happy man with happy customers. Cheers.

Your pies are looking hot Indo.
Normalcy resumed in the 2nd quarter but the other 3 were brain fades.
Well played.
edit. Hope you're not doing double paragraphs to mess with my head Collingwood scoundrel!!!!! haha.

Southernraw. Hi mate, commiserations , Pies too good.
And, Goldstein did play well. Great game in trying conditions.
Pies too classy in my opinion.
I’m in your part of the world for a few days.
In Albany at present, 40 year reunion at Railways Football, we’ve been on the turps all day for two days, maggoted.
Big day again tomorrow, luncheon at 12.pm, $20/ head all you can eat and drink.
Checked out the artificial reef today at Middleton Beach, definitely has created a bank. Still, I worry that tinkering with coastal geomorphology will just create a problem elsewhere, it’s just how I think.
I’ve been reminded how raw and beautiful the south west of WA really is.
You’re a good sport but we are just tooooooooooo fucking good and we are definitely not carnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnts. Go Pies
Lest we Forget.AW

Hey AW i was trying to remember who was gonna be here around Anzac day....it was you!! Yew! Welcome back to the region compadre.
Not sure if we maybe surfed together a coupla days ago? A weird warbled, hectic current affected spot. If so, was great to share some hard earned waves with you.
If not, maybe still will get the opp to.
Yeah no complaints from me on your pies. I reckon you're all primed for a big one this year.
Hopefully bump into ya mate but if not, enjoy your big catchup and watch out for the slippery granite! Been claiming a few!!

haha btw got nothing to do with that reef. Agreed. Buttttt....if they're gonna do it....why not do it somewhere that actually gets swell.....Mutts!! Having said that at least it won't sink like the Narrowneck one did...not for a season or so at least. I do hope it fulfills the need of those Albany surfers though. They do it tough!

Southernraw. Yes I agree, Middleton needs swell from the SE which is a very odd direction for swell to come in.
Albeit, when the swell is large the lines would eventually fill in.
Muttonbird probably would be a better place for a reef, but honestly the amount of large sharks seen there on a regular basis and a lack of getting out of there in an emergency would be a worry.
One of my mates who is with me at present, recalled a story today where a mother fucker sized GWS simply surfaced next to him like a mini submarine some 10m from the shoreline and just kept swimming in a straight line until he couldn’t see it.AW

Hahaha. Yep. There's so many sharks down here.
They just don't make the news due to the lack of people....and receivers.
The experiences vary in degrees of intensity.

Season starting this week so we need a thread to document Collingwood's run to its it's 17th premiership and the year Nick Daico's wins his first of four brownlow medal's.
