Surfing behaviour at U-turns, South Oz

I wasn't there nor do I know or condone the behaviour.
I was watching the cams yesterday about that time and noticed a couple of foilers whipping in around and though the line up...and was wondering when the conversation needs to begin.
I don't know the context nor the vibe out there if they were friends or whatnot also the wave is likely the "any craft" wave of the coast.
We're you on a foil?

thanks for clarifying that @Rhino, I looked at the cam replays and I was wondering if the sup and tiny zone had contributed to stress. shitty infrequent 0.5' closeouts is definitely a 'relax and chill' kinda session, imagine getting het up on a nice sunny day like that.. as I said in the Bali thread, 'aggro' is sad and pathetic, speaks of insecure and unhappy people trying to impress invisible ghosts. hope he grows up or gets his own face sorted or both.
'Agro' on the other hand, mildly underrated..

Ha, and over a 1ft day, must be some underlying issues for him at the moment.

There were contests running at Seaford and also Triggs 1, so the kook breaks like Anzacs, 3 poles and
U-turns were probably busier than usual. There were some nice clean but inco 2' sets coming through until the sea breeze turned it to crap around lunch time. U-turns certainly isn't worth fighting over, the SUP's love it though. That young lad must be a total wanker.

ha, some rocking little triggs rides yesty morning ^
check the red jersey with the air at 11:13:45 on the cam
little cover up about 10 mins prior too.

Rhino. wrote:Nah just a mid length surfboard. It was just after 1 when the lad started aggressively talking to me. I asked him to watch his tone, and use more considerate language. I'm here to relax, and I'm happy to engage in dialogue with anyone if we can all have a better time as a result. But it escalated and he said he wanted to punch me in the face. Frankly there is no need to be talking like that.
Roger.
It'll catch up with him one day.)

I had a young blond lad threaten to punch me today at u turns today (sunday) for 'surfing too close' to him and his mate. He also threatened and insulted me, and was very aggressive. If you know this guy and read this, please ask your friend to re-assess their behaviour in the surf, and consider becoming a better version of humself in the future. Thanks. Sunday 23/3/25 at midday.
