MAGA won 30 states last time around, they have 27 Governors. With the coercive financial and communications power of the Emperor and the lesser broligarchs, an application for an amendment to alter the constitution to provide for unlimited presidential terms put by 34 of the States, then ratified by 38 of the States, seems doable over the next four years.
Wikipedia also tells me that there’s some Constitutional scholarship that says there’s nothing in the Constitution that precludes the People from amending the Constitution, independent from the government. Some might suggest that Jan 6 shows that Trump’s got Mark Antony level talent for demagoguery. So inciting the People to drum up an amendment for unlimited goes in the Oval shouldn’t be too much drama. He’s far and away the demagogue that’s flown the highest, if that’s what you think he is. And surely this would be the approach where his Supreme Court could give him a leg up.
