Not at destination yet , got a long drive ahead tomorrow. In kupang this morning it was alive with police and military. Some locals said it was Joko who is then heading to sumba . Others said it was Prabowo who takes over later this month I think . Whoever it is there’s a big presence and walking up the street today in Tamboloka , along came someone important as everyone got of the road to wave . I was too slow getting the phone out and missed all the police bikes and cars at the beginning of convoy but caught one car . Lucky we booked accommodation as everything looks full with government ranks . These guys are in our hotel at airport , all pretty casual and happy to let me take their picture . Wont get a surf until the 4th but it’s all good . Pretty sure either Joko or Prabowo are heading to NiHi . Wrong thread I know but couldn’t find the Indonesian thread .

Heading elsewhere AW but yes kupang to tamboloka is 1 hour flight and tamboloka denpasar is an hour flight . Back to the rock around 13th October.

To be fair if he really wants to discuss things then surely that cant be an issue?
Maybe im wrong but i thought it was more about, not actually wanting to discuss things in a proper back and forth discussion, but more just posting comment after comment video after video often a few in a row often without any interaction with anyone and it all being in a negative attacking nature and when he does interact its not really proper conversation/discussion.
I dont think it helps that he popped up for this discussion only and we all know once the election is over he will be gone from the forums. (yeah sure he has now posted in other threads, but i think thats more because of Stu's comments)

In a historical sense I agree but I just find the right of politics here in AU devoid of any useful nation/community building ideas/policy. It wasn’t the left that gave us neoliberalism, lower or no taxes and small government
