Recap
Poor surf Saturday with no size and onshore winds across the South West and Mandurah, cleaner but tiny in Perth.

This swell has eased back to 3-4ft this morning with great though blustery conditions at times across the South West, tiny to the north again.

This week and weekend (Apr 3 - 8)
A reinforcing SW swell for today has been delayed a little to tomorrow, with Margs due to hang around 3-4ft, tiny to the north and with great conditions under a light E'ly offshore and then a S/SW change as a weak trough pushes east.
Our new long-range SW groundswell for Wednesday is still on track, generated by a strong polar low west of Heard Island late last week and on the weekend.
This swell should fill in overnight tomorrow and peak Wednesday morning to an inconsistent 4-6ft across magnets in the South West and 1-2ft in Mandurah with 1-1.5ft sets in Perth.
Winds are still looking less than ideal but workable and fresh from the S/SE, much better Thursday and from the SE as the swell eases.
A smaller weaker mid-period SW swell is due Thursday afternoon, easing through Friday but this should keep magnets in the South West up around 4ft and winds are a little up in the air but we're likely looking at an early light E/SE offshore.
Over the weekend, a new small S/SW pulse is due across the South West, generated by a late forming low in our swell window Friday. We should see Margs kick back to 4ft through the day Saturday, but winds look suss.
Into early next week a strong node of the Long Wave Trough moving in from the west will bring a flurry of strong frontal activity and large swells. More on this Wednesday.
