Tiny to flat run of surf
Southern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 9th July)
Best Days: No good days
Features of the Forecast (tl;dr)
- Tiny to flat surf with favourable winds
- Possible small S swell Thu
Recap
A fun reinforcing S/SW swell yesterday keeping 2ft waves hitting the Arm, still 2ft this morning but on the way out.
This weekend and next week (July 10 - 16)
I hope you made the most of the waves over the last few days as there's nothing of note at all unfortunately for the coming forecast period.
The surf will be tiny at best, flat at worst though with favourable conditions.
All the frontal activity and mid-latitude lows pushing up and into Western Australia are too high and north for us to see any swell at all.
A small low firing up right under us briefly Wednesday morning may generate some small S'ly swell for the afternoon but more so Thursday but the models slightly diverge regarding this. Otherwise wait for hopefully some better frontal activity from next weekend into the following week.
