Listless until next weekend
Southern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 26th March)
Best Days: Tuesday morning
Features of the Forecast (tl;dr)
- Weak S/SW swell for Mon but with strong W/SW tending S/SW winds, easing Tue with a NW offshore
- New swell next weekend
Recap
No surf the last couple of days with all the action taking place on the East Coast.
This weekend and next week (Mar 27– Apr 2)
The outlook remains void of any major surf, though a weak front pushing up and across us Sunday night now looks to bring a small pulse of weak S/SW swell Monday to 2ft across Clifton. Unfortunately winds will be strong out of the W/SW in the wake of the front, swinging more S/SW through the day.
Tuesday looks cleaner with a NW offshore as the swell eases from a weak, windswelly from 1-2ft.
Looking longer term we're finally getting some consolidation regarding the frontal progression due Easter weekend, with a good setup due to develop later next week, south-west of Western Australia. This progression will push east generating some new swell for us from next Sunday, but check back here on Monday for the latest. Have a great weekend!

Listless. Nice use of the word. Says it all really. Cheers
