Best Days: Beginners early Saturday and Sunday mornings, Monday morning

A new building swell across the coast yesterday but not the best conditions with only a temporary early W/NW breeze.
The swell has dropped back into this morning, much more than expected with cleaner conditions under a light offshore wind.

This weekend and next week (Nov 17 - 23)
Tomorrow is looking tiny as we fall in between swells, with a new mid-period SW swell due to build through Sunday and peak Monday morning.
This will be generated by a broad fetch of strong pre-frontal W/NW winds that are currently south of WA, moving through our south-western swell window.
The fetch will continue further east and under us tomorrow, with the swell due to build Sunday and reach 2ft on the sets across Clifton, easing from a similar size Monday morning.
E/SE sea breezes will create average conditions on Sunday afternoon, with cleaner waves Monday under a fresh N'ly tending N/NE breeze.
The surf will then become tiny into Tuesday and Wednesday morning, while a S/SW change on Wednesday may kick up a tiny increase in weak windswell.
Of greater importance is a relatively weak but broad polar front that's due to develop south-west of us through the middle to end of the week, generating a new swell later in the week. We'll have a closer look at this Monday though. Have a great weekend!
