Tomorrow morning will be the pick of the weekend with a morning W/NW-NW breeze and small easing 1-2ft of swell from today.
Come Sunday the surf is due to be tiny and with dawn N/NW winds, freshening from the N/NE ahead of a late (after dark SW change).
This change will be related to a strong mid-latitude low passing across us, generating a small spike in S/SW windswell for Monday morning.
The rapid movement of the low looks to put a limit on the size, with 1-2ft sets max under a fresh to strong but improving W/SW tending W/NW wind.
Also in the mix will be a very inconsistent long-period W/SW groundswell, generated in our far swell window in the southern Indian Ocean.
We'll struggle to see anything over 1-2ft, with both swells becoming tiny into Tuesday.
Into the middle to end of next week, we're not expected to see any major groundswells, with another small pulse of windswell on the cards for Wednesday afternoon/Thursday morning as a mid-latitude low pushes across us.
More on this Monday though. Have a great weekend!
