As touched on the last couple of updates we're looking at tiny surf through this week with the storm track staying too far north and out of our swell window for the most part.
Poor NE winds are due tomorrow, back to a NW offshore Wednesday and persisting through the end of the week.
As we move into the weekend we'll see a deep mid-latitude low drift south-east and merge with a polar front, with a fetch of strong to gale-force S'ly winds expected to be generated directly south of us in our southern swell window before pushing up past the East Coast on Sunday.
This will produce a large building S'ly swell later Saturday and more so Sunday, that could reach 4-6ft at this stage, but the models diverge a little on this.
We'll have a closer look at this on Wednesday so check back here for the latest on the weekend's outlook.
