Tiny fading surf, onshore winds next week
Southern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 26th January)
Best Days: No good days
Recap
A drop in swell but with average winds for Clifton yesterday, better at more exposed locations that like a NE breeze.
This morning we're back to fading 1ft sets but a light onshore wind created less than ideal conditions.

This weekend (Jan 27 – Feb 2)
As touched on the last couple of updates, there's no major swell due over the weekend or early-mid next week.
We'll see the surf continuing to fade tomorrow, with tiny 1ft peelers for beginners tomorrow, near flat Sunday and Monday.
Onshore winds will develop Monday as a surface trough moves in from the west, lingering off our East Coast bringing persistent S/SW-SW winds for most of the week.
There's no real major swell due though, with some tiny W/SW swell Tuesday and a touch better SW energy later week but only to 2ft or so.
Longer term we may see conditions improving later next weekend with some fun leftover swell, but more on this Monday. Have a great weekend!
