This week and weekend (Dec 27 - 31)
Today's swell is due to drop right away through tomorrow, fading from a tiny 1-1.5ft with a moderate to fresh N'ly tending NE breeze.
For the rest of the week there's nothing major due with a couple of small W/SW groundswells being generated too far north and west of our swell window.
Over the weekend a mid-latitude front pushing across us Saturday will kick up a late increase in W/SW windswell to 1-2ft across Clifton but with strong W/SW winds.
The front will clear quickly to the east overnight Saturday leaving clean fading surf from 1ft+.
A slightly better W/SW groundswell is due early next week from a stronger secondary front pushing through our swell window over the weekend. We should see more consistent 2ft sets on Monday with an early W/NW breeze, but we'll look at this again tomorrow.
