Recap

Fun but weak easing W/SW swell from 1-2ft yesterday morning with an offshore wind, tiny into this morning.

This weekend and next week (Dec 24 - 30)

As talked about Wednesday, there's nothing too major on the cards this weekend with tiny amounts of swell but into Monday a slight lift in W/SW swell is due.

The remnants of a vigorous low that pushed through the southern Indian Ocean is now generating a weaker fetch of strong W/NW winds in our far western swell window.

This may produce 1-1.5ft of W/SW swell for Monday afternoon but with morning N'ly winds giving into an onshore change late morning.

No major S/SE windswell is due in the wake of Monday's change anymore, with a low now expected to form to our south-west instead of east.

As this low moves across us later next week we may see an increase in W/SW windswell but to no major size at this stage. More on this Monday.

Have a Merry Christmas and great weekend!
