Southern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 28th September)

Best Days: No good days

Recap

Beginner peelers yesterday and today with no decent swell.

This week and weekend (Sep 29 – Oct 2)

Our run of average tiny surf is set to continue through this entire forecast period, with no real changes from Monday.

The small increase in SE windswell for Friday looks to be downgraded a touch with winds taking a more westerly bias.

Instead tiny 1-1.5ft sets may be seen with improving conditions under gusty E/NE tending NW winds.

A small pulse of SW swell may be seen for Saturday morning to 1ft to possibly 2ft, with a light NW offshore, increasing from the W/SW through the day.

Into next week there's still nothing major on the cards with the storm track remaining north and our of our swell window. More on this Friday.
