Best Days: Thursday, possibly early Saturday

Recap

A fun pulse of S/SW swell to 2ft yesterday with favourable winds, ahead of a drop back from 1-1.5ft under strengthening NW tending W/NW winds.

This week and weekend (Dec 10 - 13)

Currently a mid-latitude low has strengthened just to our west-southwest, aiming a good fetch of gale to severe-gale W/SW winds right through our close-range western swell window.

This should produce a good pulse of W/SW groundswell for tomorrow, building to 2ft+ through the day tomorrow with W/NW tending NW winds.

Come Friday no size is expected to be left with morning offshores.

Into the weekend another weaker front is due to move in from the west but from a slightly better direction, aiming a fetch of SW gales up into us.

A good pulse to 2-3ft is due Saturday morning but with dicey W/SW to SW winds. There's a chance for an early W'ly but we'll review this Friday.

Longer term there's nothing significant so make the most of the coming swell pulses.
