Zonal flow to dominate
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Monday 20th April)
Best Days: No good days
Recap
A fun pulse of S'ly groundswell later Saturday and more so Sunday across the coast, biggest on the south swell magnets, fading into today and replaced by a weak N windswell.
This week and weekend (Apr 21 - 26)
Unfortunately as touched on last update, in the wake of the weekend's S'ly swell and today's poor and weak N'ly windswell, there's nothing significant at all on the cards for our coast.
We'll see a zonal flow setup across the state owing to a strong node of the Long Wave Trough moving in slowly from the west, bringing strong cold fronts that'll be to west in nature to generate any surf.
This doesn't look to change for at least another 1.5 weeks, so check back over the coming updates for when we'll see surf again.
