This week and weekend (Jul 23 – 28)
The outlook remains void of any significant swells unfortunately with the westerly storm track pushing just under WA and the dipping south-east on approach towards Victoria and our state.
With this we won't see any swell from the south, and there's also nothing on the cards from the Tasman Sea.
There will likely be a tiny E'ly signal on the weekend, generated by a weak low forming in the Tasman Sea, just off New Zealand's West Coast later this week.
We may see a small to tiny 1-2ft E'ly pulse for Sunday and with offshore W tending variable winds.
Longer term there are hints of some better E'ly swell for the first week of August, but we'll have another look at this on Wednesday.
