Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl
This weekend and next week (May 18 - 24)
Today's pulse of S'ly swell should fade into tomorrow with nothing of size expected until Sunday afternoon.
This will be in the form of a new S'ly groundswell, generated by a great polar front firing up south-west of us today and producing a fetch of W/SW gales in our southern swell window this evening and tomorrow morning.
The swell is due to arrive into Sunday afternoon and only pulse late with sets to 3ft across magnets, peaking Monday morning to 3ft+ and then easing.
A secondary deeper but smaller and faster moving low looks to generate a secondary pulse of S'ly groundswell for late Monday but more so Tuesday morning to 2-3ft across south magnets.
Winds Sunday afternoon will be sea breezey and from the N/NE, N/NW all day Monday favouring those south magnets and NW Tuesday.
Following this unfortunately there's nothing significant on the cards so make the most of Monday and Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
