This week and weekend (Jan 17 - 20)
The fetch linked to yesterday and today's N/NE windswell has shifted away from us, and come tomorrow there isn't expected to be much above 1-1.5ft left on the coast. Conditions will be clean ahead of afternoon sea breezes.
Unfortunately for the rest of the period there's nothing of significance at all on the cards.
A flukey and small N/NE pulse may be seen Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning from a strong burst of N/NE winds off the NSW coast, but this will be distant and any size hardly reaching 1-2ft.
The Tasman Sea will become fairly benign while the Southern Ocean isn't expected to offer anything of note for our east facing shores.
Later next week we may see a fun E/NE tending NE windswell perking up, but check back here Friday for more on this.
