Tiny weak waves through yesterday, with a small just surfable north-east windswell on the coast today as expected.
Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl
This week and weekend (Sep 13 – 16)
The fetch of N/NE winds linked to today's N/NE windswell has already shifted away from us, and with this the surf will become tiny to flat into tomorrow.
On Monday there was the possibility of another N/NE swell into the weekend if a developing fetch of N'ly winds reached enough strength and angled more favourably towards us.
Well this is now on the cards, with a strong fetch of N'ly winds developing overnight Friday and dawn Saturday due to produce a spike of N/NE windswell for Saturday morning as a W/NW change moves in around dawn.
North facing beaches should see a 2ft wave, dropping rapidly with the change and tiny into the afternoon.
Following this the outlook remains poor, so maybe check the South Arm Forecaster Notes for more options.
