Small weak NE swells
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 25th April)
Best Days: No great days, check the South Arm forecast
Recap
Yesterday's expected S/SE groundswell was only reported at 1-2ft which is under the expected 3ft, with tiny surf left into today, mainly consisting of a NE signal.
Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl
This week and weekend (Apr 26 - 29)
As talked about on Monday, we're due to see small levels of background NE energy between 1ft to sometimes 2ft at north-east swell magnets, owing to a weak persistent fetch of E/NE-NE winds through the Tasman Sea, breaking down Thursday evening.
The swell will persist through the end of the week and into Sunday morning before fading.
Unfortunately beyond this there's nothing significant at all, with a small E'ly groundswell possible Tuesday from a fetch of SE winds out of Cook Strait and off New Zealand's North Island Sunday.
Besides this our swell windows remain void of any activity, so maybe check the South Arm forecast for more options.
