Nothing of significance this period
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 7th June)
Best Days: No good days
Recap
Average building windswell yesterday, cleaner today and easing from a small 2ft at south magnets.
This week and weekend (June 8 - 11)
Unfortunately the coming period is looking more dire than Monday's update.
Our current swell will fade back to a tiny 0.5-1ft tomorrow and our second burst of S'ly swell for Friday has been wiped off the charts.
What we may see over the weekend is some small E/NE swell spreading off a weak low in the Tasman Sea, sitting east of Sydney over the coming days.
A weak fetch of persistent E'ly winds will extend towards New Zealand's North Island and with this some small NE swell should be seen Saturday and Sunday to 1ft to occasionally 2ft at north-east swell magnets.
Conditions will be clean each morning with weak afternoon sea breezes.
Longer term the outlook is still variable, but check back here Friday for more on this.
