Best Days: Sunday, early Monday
Recap
Fading surf yesterday out of the SE, tiny today. A small pulse of S'ly swell is due late across magnets but E'ly winds will create average conditions.
This weekend and next week (Jan 7 - 13)
The N/NE windswell event which was upgraded a little on Wednesday has now been pushed back a little.
The fetch of N/NE winds will move away just a little too quick to generate any major size, with north facing beaches due to come in around 2-3ft all day Sunday, easing overnight and fading from 1-2ft Monday.
A N/NW wind is due Sunday morning which isn't ideal, tending W/NW through the afternoon and creating cleaner conditions, persisting Monday ahead of sea breezes.
For the rest of the week there's nothing significant on the cards with tiny amounts of swell across the coast.
A weak front pushing up past us Thursday may generate a small bumpy S'ly swell but with no real quality. Lets take another look at this Monday. Have a great weekend.
