Best Days: Saturday morning south-east swell magnets, Monday north swell magnets

Recap

A small building north-east windswell yesterday, easing back through this morning under offshore winds.

This weekend and next week (Dec 3 - 9)

There isn't expected to much north-east swell left into tomorrow morning, with fading 1-1.5ft sets across magnets.

A small inconsistent SE swell should be in the water though, generated earlier this week by a fetch of strong to gale-force E/SE winds south-east of New Zealand.

Infrequent 2ft sets are due across swell magnets tomorrow, fading Sunday.

A morning offshore is expected tomorrow, before winds swing NE into the afternoon.

Sunday morning looks clean again ahead of strengthening N/NE winds into the afternoon.

This strengthening N/NE breeze should become strongest at dawn Monday before moving offshore during the morning.

A fun peaky N/NE swell to 3ft is expected across north facing beaches Monday morning, easing rapidly during the day. Morning offshore W/NW winds are due to also give into a S/SE change through the day.

No decent S'ly swell is due off the southerly change, with tiny waves for most of next week.

Later in the week we may see a solid NE windswell developing again, but more on this Monday. Have a great weekend!
