Effectively flat until the weekend
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Monday 7th November)
Best Days: No good days until early next week
Recap
Tiny clean waves Saturday with a slight increase in south swell Sunday, but reports weren't that amazing unfortunately.
Today small 1-2ft waves were seen with a new S'ly pulse, but this is expected to be gone by tomorrow.
This week (Nov 8 - 11)
For this week there's nothing major on the cards at all.
Tomorrow is expected to be tiny, while a very tiny hint of NE windswell may be seen Wednesday through Friday from a weak fetch of NE winds off the NSW coast tomorrow through Wednesday morning.
Of greater significance are the developments into the weekend, with a deepening mid-latitude low moving in from the west.
With this we're set to see a broad and elongated fetch of NE gales developing down the East Coast Saturday, tending more E/NE as the low forms just to our north-east, before going E/SE Sunday.
This should result in a moderate to large increase in NE tending E'ly swell later Saturday and Sunday morning with onshore winds, easing Monday from the SE with offshores, but more on this Wednesday.
