Central QLD Forecaster Notes by Steve Shearer (updated on Wed Nov 13th)

This week and next week (Nov13-Nov 22)

Central QLD: Tiny/flat spell continues into the weekend, small rideable surf next week

Still flat and onshore.

Still flat

Nothing of interest lately or into the weekend. We’ll see a new high move into the Tasman over the weekend with a SE surge developing up the Tasman and into the Coral Sea. That should see some rideable surf develop under SE-E winds through Sun into Mon and extending into Tues before easing.

SE winds in Coral Sea should see some rideable waves

We may see surf rebuild later next week as another high moves into the Tasman at a lower latitude with SE tradewinds developing ion the Coral Sea.

Let’s see how it looks on Fri. Hopefully, we’ve seen the end of this current flat spell.
