Central QLD Forecaster Notes by Steve Shearer (updated on Mon Oct 21st)

This weekend and next week (Oct21-Nov 1)

Central QLD: Small fun E swell Tues/Wed

Nothing yet, should show tomorrow.

Nothing yet

The current low located near Lord Howe Island dissipates through today with easing winds along the Eastern Seaboard as a result. Weak pressure gradients then occupy the Coral Sea through the mid week, offering up good conditions as a long range E swell makes landfall. We should see a few sets today before dark with surf building tomorrow at open exposures with some 2ft sets.

Those sets continue into Wed, before tailing off Thurs with light N'ly winds.

Not much over the weekend with tiny/flat surf expected.

We may see some broad but weak tradewinds generate minor surf mid next week.

Nothing much from this weak tradeflow lets see how it looks on Wed

We'll see how that looks on Wed.
