Central QLD: Just breaking, with a few fun days next week

Trough brought some small surf.

Better than expected

High pressure in the Tasman has brought a stronger SE surge than expected in the short term with trades filling up the Coral Sea over the weekend and extending into next week as new high pressure moves NE of Tas into the Tasman. This set-up looks to hold a few rideable waves over the weekend (just breaking on low tides) and building into next week. 

We’ll see surf build on Mon as the next high pressure surge builds and extend into most of next week under SE-E winds.
