This week and next week (Aug28-Sep 6)

Central QLD: Tiny waves this week, bigger waves next week

Small peelers on low tide

A sub-tropical low SE of Fiji is sending small waves to open stretches of the Burnett Coast with this swell source expected to continue as the system slowly drifts through the South Pacific.

That will see tiny, but fun waves for a mal on low tides into the weekend and early next week.

Next week should see a bigger high and SE surge into the Coral Sea. By Wed we should see a reasonable trade-flow in the Coral Sea and fun waves developing through the second half of next week.

We’ll see how it looks on Fri.
