Central QLD: Tiny waves this week, possible waves next week

Micro peelers today, a little bigger from Wed.

It’s not a great pattern for the East Coast with most of the swell generating winds under the continent and favouring southern states.  A fetch well to the SE of Fiji this week will supply a small, background signal of E swell from Wed for those spots with open access to the E.

Expect small surf from that source Wed/Thurs with inconsistent sets.

Next week sees another high move into the Northern Tasman.

Models are mixed but we may see enough trade flow to generate some small waves by mid next week.
