This weekend and next week (Aug16-Aug 23)

Central QLD: Surf easing over the weekend, becoming tiny next week

Not much over the weekend.

Still some gems around yesterday

Our summer-style swell producing pattern has broken down and we’re seeing surf ease into the weekend, becoming tiny into next week as high pressure moves towards Tasmania.

Bit of hope we may see some small surf develop by mid next week as SE winds fill up the Coral Sea. There’s still some model disagreement as to how strong those winds are but we’ll pencil in surf becoming rideable again by Wed next week. Possibly even rebuilding further next weekend as a new SE surge builds in across the Coral Sea.

Lets see how this trade flow looks on Mon- could produce some small waves by mid next week

Lets see how it looks on Mon.

Until then, have a great weekend!
