Central QLD: Rideable waves over the weekend , more later next week

Fun waves over the weekend easing into next week

Surf keeps coming

No change to the f/cast. A broad windfield in the Coral Sea is maintaining fun waves and this pattern will extend over the weekend.

Early next week we’ll see winds ease in the Coral Sea as a trough of low pressure sits in the Tasman Sea. By mid next week the next high pressure ridge builds up the CQ coast and SE winds quickly extend out into the Coral Sea.

SE winds in the Coral Sea bring more fun waves next week

That will see another round of fun waves through the second half of next week into the weekend.
