This weekend and next week (Mar22-Mar28)

Central QLD: Easing swells over the weekend with some tiny days until Easter

Fun surf slowly easing.

Great run of surf finally coming to an end

Weak high pressure in the Tasman is seeing a dissipating tradewind fetch in the Coral Sea so we’ll finally see this run of surf wind down over the weekend, becoming tiny likely by Sat a’noon into Sun.

The next high has been slowee down by frontal activity so we’ll see a few days of light winds and tiny surf next week before the next SE surge arrives. Expect tiny surf Mon-Wed. We’ll see the SE surge build through Thurs but it may take a day or two to deliver surf. Pencil in Good Friday for a small rideable wave.

SE surge should bring some small surf Good Friday

Over the Easter weekend we should see small surf from the SE, just rideable on low tides.

Check back Mon and we’ll see how it’s shaping up and have a great weekend!
