Dawn report: The low must be quite close to Sydney this morning as winds are offshore across the Northern Beaches but they've just gone onshore across the Eastern Beaches and Cronulla. The Illawarra and Coal Coast have escaped the onshores for now but of course it can't be ruled out, so if you're gonna surf make it sooner rather than later. Size is 2-3ft from the east, winds are SW. The next surf report update will be around 9am.
